will be held for
Guelph's FaeryFest 2008
On Monday March 17th, beginning at 7:30 pm.
Auditions will take place at the
Evergreen Senior's Centre
683 Woolwich St, Guelph, ON N1H 3Y8,
(on Woolwich just north of Speedvale, close to Riverside Park.)
We are seeking volunteer actors
to be part of our Faery Court
FaeryFest is a 2 day festival held on June 21st and 22nd, running from 9am to 7pm. We are currently preparing for our third year! The event is a family oriented outdoor festival that takes place near the bandshell in Riverside park.
FaeryFest aims to bring you the best in local performing and visual arts all with a fantasy twist that will delight faeries and humans of all ages.
Our cast will put on several short scenes and be available to interact with the crowds while staying in character. Come and experience the magic of Faery as a member of our cast.
No need to prepare a monologue, just show up and participate at the audition meeting. Please bring a completed copy of the Actor's Information Form below. More forms will be available at Auditions.

Next Rehersal...
Hello Faeries!
Our next rehearsal will be Monday March 31st at 7:30 pm. We will be at the Guelph Youth Music Centre
If you missed auditions and still want to be part of the cast, this will be your FINAL opportunity to join - unless you've made prior arrangments with the Director or someone like me!
We had a good turn out at our auditions, but there is still room for a few more - especially those of the male persuasion or a few more adults.

Greetings Ocean,
I am pleased to find out that there is still more room to be part of the faerie court. I am not of the male persuasion, but I think that I qualify as an adult although that could probably be disputed given my creative imagination. Do you think that there is still room for such a faerie and if so where is the Guelph Youth Music Centre. I am a newcomer to the Guelph woodlands as I recently hailed from the great northern forests found in the Ottawa region.

Audition
Hi Whystler and Ocean,
I am wondering if you have some idea of the frequency and days/nights that is necessary for rehersals. I am eager to join, but my schedule is only flexable if I let my boss know two weeks in advance before the new schedules are made.

Rehearsals
Due to the availability of our director, Rehearsals run on Monday nights from 7:30 to 9:30 (ish). We are meeting every other week (or so) until May, when we will meet every week to ensure we are ready for June!
We are working on setting up a schedule, and will send it out to our actor mailing list asap!

Hi Ocean,
Thank you for the schedule, but I gather it is a bit too late as the auditions are over. I thought that there would be more rehearsals on various nights and this would be difficult for me. I wish I knew it was only on Monday nights as I could easily arrange time off. If you are still short of actors, please let me know!
