I can't wait...

I'm really looking forward to seeing the artwork that appears at the next Faery Fest. I was helping to man a booth last year, so unfortunately I didn't really have enough time to fully appreciate all of the different handmade arts and crafts that were on display.
I remember that there was a terrific variety -- from sculptures and woodcrafts, to swords and chainmail -- and all of it was handmade. I had no idea there was such talent amongst our local woodspeople!

Can't Wait....
Don't forget the lovely flowing garments and sparkly things...
I can't wait...
In my journys, I have come to realize the vast range of talents and interests explored by our fine artisans - I have seen many of them at "other" venues. What I do enjoy is the creativity expressed by the artisans when they set up their booths for FaeryFest - although I might see the same vendors at many different types of faires, most attempt to tweak their decor or product for the audience - and Faeryfest allows even more of their creativity to shine. Last year I saw toadstool gardens, a fairy village, and flowers and lights that really added to the magic of FaeryFest! A festival like this is not accomplished by a small group - all who participate help create the magic! I can't wait to see what will happen this year!
creativity is waking up under the snow
New ideas for pretty shinies are rolling around the Raven's Hoard Studio....might even make a silver portrait of the queen, an elf or two......and sundry critters.
The minions are restless.
I'm still curled up in a blanket under the snow
Well,
I know we're not really artists...nor are we shiny, but C & C are working on some new tricks for our trip to Faery Fest this year, we've been working on the balancing along with a stage show, and we've got new "bits" to play with in the streets.
Really looking forward to seeing everyone again :)

Guess I'll have to make sure to bring my club along again this year to keep you knaves in line.
