Yay! Faery Fest won 2nd prize in our category for this years Santa Claus Parade!!

Look for the Faery Fest Tree in the Festival of Trees at the Riverrun Centre. Festival of Trees raises funds for St. Josephs Hospital. Visit until the end of December and vote for your favourite tree. Of course it will be the Faery Fest Enchanted Ground Tree!!

Congratulations to Lilac Grove for winning the Best Booth Award this year. Lilac Grove will be getting a free booth space next year at the 2012 Enchanted Ground Festival!

Some of you may know that Saturday of Faery Fest's Enchanted Ground is WORLD JUGGLING DAY.  As a result we have teamed up with JOUG (Jugglers Of University of Guelph) and created a Juggling Grove all weekend with special events in particular on Saturday, including: Juggling Games scheduled during the day, and a special night juggle during the Crystal Ball Masquerade.

Faery Fest Inc. has a booth at this year's Anime North Convention. Visit us from May 27th - 29th at the Toronto Congress Centre, 650 Dixon Road. For more info on Anime North visit www.animenorth.com. Anime North will also have a booth at this years Enchanted Ground so visit them when you're at the Festival this June.

Exciting news... Faery Fest Inc. is working with College Heights School in Guelph to create 20 new panels for the Maze Project! The College Heights Maze Team consists of students interested in graphic arts, design and woodworking. Shop students have cut and sanded panels and art students will begin painting and designing graphics for the panel surfaces next month. These enthusiastic students have fund raised to afford the materials.

We are so excited and proud of our Maze Team. Be sure to come out to Enchanted Ground in June to go through the maze and see the exceptional works of art created by the students.

New things to look for in 2011:   A new Front Gate; a new Pub / Information and Enchanted Ground Boutique; more food selection, a production of A Midsummer Night's Dream by a stellar cast (stay tuned for more information about this soon).

Faery Fest Inc. is excited to have a new member on our Board of Directors. Monica Ptok-Byard brings our Board number up to four for the 2010 - 2011 year. We welcome Monica's talent and enthusiasm to our team. You may be familar with Monica's extraordinary faery/fantasy art and her amazing work on last year's Enchanted Ground poster. Monica and her partner Aaron hold the Advertizing portfolio for Faery Fest Inc.

Faery Fest Inc. is thrilled to have a new member on our Board of Directors. Please welcome Rick Avery to Faery Fest Inc. Rick has been involved with Faery Fest as part of the musical group Relative Harmony that plays at the Ball every year. Rick brings with him a wealth of experience and enthusiasm and we look forward to a great working relationship.

Look for our Christmas Tree in the Festival of Trees at the Riverrun Centre in Guelph. You can visit and browse all the trees unp until Decenber 28th 2011. The Festival of Trees raises money for the St Joseph's Hospital. A great cause so get out there and vote for your favourite tree. Of course it will be the Faery Fest tree on the landing heading upstairs!!!
