While poking around on Instructables today (which is an AWESOME website) I found a how to that I can't wait to use- how to apply latex ears QUICKLY!!!

Since putting on my ears took more time than the rest of my costume put together last year, and they STILL looked fake, this idea makes me happy.

Well, you might think it's early to start talking about what to wear at FaeryFest, since the snow is all over the ground, but, well, when it comes to costumes, early is rarely early enough - I'm sure I'm not the only one who has been sewing madly the night before an event, because those last details just didn't get finished. And, since I can't start my sewing until I have measurements for the cast, I have some time to write posts about making costumes. I'm so excited about the workshop activity Beth Windfield is going to run this year at Faery Fest. She will be teaching us elfs how to make ethereal skirts and coolio raggety vests out of strips of multicoloured fabric.
